This is a multibillion-dollar opportunity that also improves patient care and outcomes.”

Growth despite 2020’s unprecedented challenges

Last year, WELL Health Inc. was ranked #140 on the 2020 Inc. 5000 list. The company’s higher ranking in 2021 is a marker of continued growth since the ranking is based on percentage revenue growth over a three-year period. Not only have the companies on the 2021 Inc. 5000 been very competitive within their markets, but the companies on this year’s list also proved especially resilient and flexible given 2020’s unprecedented challenges.  Among the 5,000 companies on the list, the average median three-year growth rate soared to 543 percent, and median revenue reached $11.1 million. Together, those companies added more than 610,000 jobs over the past three years.

Series C, collaborations, and accolades

This past year has been one of incredible expansion and recognition for WELL Health starting with the securing of $45 million in Series C Funding followed with being named 2021 Best in KLAS winner in Patient Outreach. In addition, WELL also earned the ranking of number 10 on 2021 Forbes Best Startup Employers in America.

WELL forged new collaborations with EHR leaders, Cerner Corporation and MEDITECH, making WELL Health the patient-communication solution for both of the EHR’s healthcare provider customers.  WELL is also partnered with Twilio to help healthcare providers rapidly implement secure patient communications at a time when the need to communicate with patients has never been more critical.

Since the COVID vaccine became available in the United States, leading healthcare providers have used WELL™ Health communications technology to facilitate more than 7.3 million COVID vaccine appointments and send more than 44 million COVID-related messages.1

WELL recently rolled out new features, Call to Text and Abandoned Call which helps healthcare call centers more efficiently manage inbound calls by integrating directly with their phone system. Used together, these features reduce hold times and minimize abandoned calls by switching the caller to text messaging.  WELL also just introduced ChatAssist AI, an exciting new enhancement to the WELL platform that upgrades patient interactions from simple automation to AI-enabled conversations.

The Inc. 5000 methodology

They must be U.S.-based, privately held, for-profit, and independent—not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies—as of December 31, 2020. (Since then, some on the list may have gone public or been acquired.) The minimum revenue required for 2017 is $100,000; the minimum for 2020 is $2 million.
