Sean Kelly, MD, is the Chief Medical Officer at WELL Health. As CMO, Dr. Kelly works closely with the Executive Leadership, Sales and Product teams, using his healthcare expertise to advise strategies on everything from research and development, to product management, sales, and customer experience and satisfaction.

Dr. Kelly joined WELL Health from Imprivata, where he spent the last decade as CMO.  He remains an Executive Clinical Advisor for Imprivata. He trained at Harvard College, University of Massachusetts Medical School, and Vanderbilt University, where he served as resident and Chief Resident. He is board certified in Emergency Medicine and a Fellow in the American College of Emergency Physicians, as well as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Emergency Medicine part time at Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Kelly has published a textbook on emergency medicine and articles on medical education, and won several teaching awards, including the Harvard Affiliated EM Residency Best Teaching Attending and Role Model awards. He was also the Co-founder and Partner of Lifeguard Medical Group in Martha’s Vineyard, a seasonal concierge practice run by emergency physicians.

He served as a visiting professor at the University of Florence in Italy, still works as a First Aid physician at Fenway Park (a lifelong Sox fan), and enjoys doing humanitarian and disaster relief work worldwide.
